Group On-Site First Aid Training

Coordinating first aid training for a team is a hassle. You need a provider who shows up on time, keeps your people engaged, and delivers certification everyone can actually use.

Group on-site training from Lifesaver YEG brings accredited CPR and first aid courses directly to your workplace, school, or community space.

Your team gets small-class attention without anyone leaving the building. Training happens on your schedule, in a familiar setting, with immediate electronic certification at the end.

Why Choose Lifesaver YEG for Group On-Site Training

Validity of CPR in Alberta.jpeg

Accredited by Canadian Red Cross and Heart & Stroke

  • Your team receives certifications that are OHS approved and meet provincial requirements. Employers, schools, and regulatory bodies widely accept them.

  • Small class sizes, even on-site. We keep groups manageable so every participant gets hands-on practice and one-on-one support. More reps. More confidence.

  • We come to you. No travel time for your staff. No booking external venues. We set up in your boardroom, break room, gym, or training space.

  • Flexible scheduling. Morning, afternoon, evening, or weekend sessions. We work around your operations so you do not lose productivity.

  • Blended learning available. Participants complete online theory before the session, then focus the in-person time on skills practice. Less time in the classroom. Same quality outcome.

  • Transparent group pricing. You will know the cost upfront. No surprise fees. Renewal pricing available for teams that need recertification.

Group on-site training fits organizations that need multiple people certified efficiently and affordably.

  • Workplaces meeting OHS first aid requirements

  • Construction crews and trades teams

  • Daycares, schools, and after-school programs

  • Fitness studios, gyms, and recreation centres

  • Property management companies and building staff

  • Nonprofits and community organizations

  • Healthcare facilities needing BLS or ACLS recertification

  • Event coordinators training volunteers or staff

If you have five or more people who need training, on-site delivery usually makes more sense than sending everyone to a public class.

Accredited Training, Immediate Certification

Booking is straightforward. Reach out with your group size, preferred course, and a few date options. We will confirm availability, explain pricing, and answer any questions about format or duration.

Once scheduled, we send everything participants need to prepare. For blended courses, that includes access to the online module, which must be completed before the in-person session.

On training day, we arrive early to set up equipment and materials. The session runs according to the course structure. Intermediate First Aid (SFA) takes longer than Basic First Aid (EFA) or CPR-AED.

Participants practice on manikins, work through scenarios, and complete skills assessments. When they pass, they receive immediate electronic certification. No waiting for cards in the mail.

Faster, More Cost-Effective Safety Training

Scheduling That Fits Around Your Workday

Most providers make you work around their schedule. Lifesaver YEG does the opposite. We build training around your shift patterns, slow periods, or staff availability.

Need to split a large team across two sessions? Done. Want to run training during a professional development day? We can fill that slot.

We can fit the training into a standard workday, after hours or even weekends.

Credentials That Actually Count

Every course we deliver is accredited by Canadian Red Cross or Heart & Stroke, depending on the program. That means your team walks away with certifications recognized by Alberta OHS and accepted by employers across industries.

We do not cut corners on curriculum or practice time. Small classes ensure everyone gets enough repetitions to build real skill and real confidence.

What are the benefits of group on-site training?

On-site training can be scheduled according to your organization's preferences. For instance, the start time and breaks can align with your regular routine.

It’s convenient for staff to be comfortable within their environment, too. On-site sessions remove the friction of travel, parking, and time away from work.

In fact, group on-site training can also act as a team building event.

How much does group on-site training cost?

Pricing depends on the course, group size, and location. Larger groups typically get a better per-person rate. Contact us with your details and we will send a clear quote with no hidden fees.

How long does a training session take?

It varies by course. CPR-AED and Basic First Aid (EFA) sessions are shorter. Intermediate First Aid (SFA) runs longer because it covers more material. Blended formats shorten the in-person portion since theory is done online beforehand. We will confirm the time commitment when you book.

What do we need to provide for on-site training?

A clean, well-lit space with enough room for participants to move around. Tables and chairs help. We bring all training equipment, manikins, supplies, and course materials.

All participants must carry identification.

Do participants need to complete anything before the session?

For blended courses, yes. Each participant must finish the online theory module before the in-person skills session. We send login details and clear instructions after booking.

What if someone does not pass?

It happens rarely, but if a participant does not meet the requirements, we will discuss options. Our small class sizes and hands-on approach give everyone a strong chance to succeed.

Is this training valid for workplace compliance?

Yes. Our certifications are OHS approved and meet provincial requirements. They are widely accepted by employers, schools, and regulatory bodies across Alberta.

Can we mix different courses in one booking?

Sometimes. If part of your team needs BLS and another group needs Intermediate First Aid, we can discuss scheduling options. Reach out and we will find a setup that works.
